Optical Animal provided a projection mapping and playback solution for the production of a commercial for Paypal, blending the outputs from multiple projectors to compose a seamless ultra-wide illuminated background.

OA mesh-warped the image to compensate for the curved cyclorama so that the visuals would not appear distorted from the camera’s perspective. The Optical Animal team provided guidance and worked closely with the director of photography to keep the image looking on-point, and to cue synched playback of the background visuals during each take.
